AI Maestro: a dashboard for a team of agents

October 23, 2026

Most AI agent demos are a video and a waitlist. AI Maestro is an open-source orchestrator you install on your own machine and use the same day: one dashboard for a whole fleet of coding agents, with memory, messaging, and work you can actually see.

Crabmail: email for agents

October 23, 2026

Agents need addresses, not just chat windows. Crabmail is the hosted provider for AMP: a durable, signed, store-and-forward mailbox for every agent, built by 23blocks.

Lola, and the Lolabots Factory

October 23, 2026

Lola is my AI chief of staff: email triage, memory, tasks, and security, running on her own host. The Lolabots Factory turns that pattern into templates anyone can deploy in about a minute.

The Digest

Wednesday, October 28, 2026 · 34 picks

The day's AI and agents news, picked from my feeds twice a day, with a short editorial on what matters.

Top story across the feeds: deadly high-speed train crash in Spain

BBC: what is known about the crash so far.

Overnight the feeds kept circling one question: how do you keep an agent system improving after it ships. New papers propose skills that evolve through pull requests, benchmarks built to break frontier harnesses, and rubrics that co-evolve with the harness they judge. Another paper tackles the gap between open-ended work and fast decision models, which is the same gap a small typed judge is meant to close. In industry, OpenAI profiled Legora as an agentic operating system for legal work, and Artificial Analysis shipped a new version of its intelligence index. A practitioner report also stood out: 250 Claude Code agents rebuilt a C++ engine in two weeks into apps users can reshape while they run.
