Windows Phone Day 2013
Thanks to the invitation from the Avanet community, I had the opportunity to join Miguel Mendoza and Andres Fontan at the Windows Phone Community Day in Medellín, Colombia on October 5, 2013.
The Event
This time I presented key elements of software architecture, application development, and career planning. It was a relaxed conference, very fun and iconoclastic. Preparing for it was incredible, the audience was very engaged, and I believe we all had a great time.
Topics Covered
- Software Architecture Best Practices
- Windows Phone Application Development
- Career Planning and Professional Growth
Community and Connection
The Windows Phone Community Day was a fantastic opportunity to connect with developers passionate about mobile development. The energy in Medellín was incredible, with developers eager to learn about architecture patterns and best practices for building mobile applications.
What made this event special was the level of engagement from the audience. We had deep discussions about not just the technical aspects of Windows Phone development, but also about career paths, architectural decisions, and the importance of planning your professional growth alongside your technical skills.
Gratitude
Many thanks to Zorey, Eliana, and all the brilliant people at Avanet for inviting me. It was an honor to share the stage with Miguel Mendoza and Andres Fontan, both excellent speakers and developers.
